Job description and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating the communications output within a company
  • Website maintenance
  • Responsible for managing and organizing global conferences and events
  • Preparing presentations
  • Work on quarterly newsletter
  • Social Media on-going updates
  • Develop fresh story ideas
  • Coordinate travels and meetings in the far east
  • Updating CRM platform
  • Searching for new leads
  • Support communications with customers
  • Maintaining good relations with distributors, agents etc.
  • Assisting market research and business plan preparation
  • Manages promotional materials

This is a full time position, and you will report to the Marketing Manager and APAC Manager.

Job description and Responsibilities:

In your position, you will be responsible for managing existing accounts and forging new ones, from lead identification, establishing first contact, preparing quotes and legal agreements to closing deals. You will work from NRGene’s headquarters in Park-Ha’Mada, Ness-Ziona, and travel to meet customers and to attend conferences worldwide.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • MSc/PhD in Computational Biology / Bioinformatics / Biology/ Life Sciences/ Medicine
  • At least two years of experience in a similar role
  • English mother tongue level
  • Chinese – mother tongue level / high level – a must!
  • Able to travel globally at least twice a month (about 10 days a month)
  • Fast learner, creative and able to work in a highly dynamic environment

This position is of a member in the Professional Services (PS) team. PS team is the production “special forces” unit in NRGene, which utilize NRGene’s genomic analysis tools and creativity to resolve significant challenges for our clients.

Job description and Responsibilities:

  • As a senior member of the software team, your primary focus will be to build great stuff! And of course help others to do the same.
  • As an integral and central player in our software development team, you’ll be expected to take part in all key design discussions pertaining to the basic aspects of our products: choice of frameworks, hardware, tooling, cost analysis, risk analysis, security, cloud orchestration and site reliability.
  • As such, you’ll be expected both to contribute to and learn from other engineers of the software team – our software engineers are open, self-motivated and enjoy learning and teaching new stuff to others.
  • We encourage the use of and contribution to open-source projects: if you’ve done so in the past or are doing so in the present – we’d gladly like to take a look, and if relevant, further support it.

Professional Requirements:

  • BSc in CS or equivalent – we require all software engineers to possess solid understanding of basic CS: algorithms, OOP, architecture.
  • 4+ years of hands-on software engineering experience. Fluent in both reading and writing code – in several languages and technologies (scripting, system, managed).
  • Understanding of modern deployment and orchestration frameworks (Kubernetes / Mesos / Docker), experience and knowledge of cloud computing (AWS in particular).
  • Experience with Hadoop / Spark – an advantage.
  • Excellent coding skills, with an appreciation for elegant and clean code.
  • Good understanding of modern hardware, Linux, the JVM, networking and storage.
  • Experience in designing and architecting distributed systems (SOA, micro-services, domain-driven design) – an advantage.
  • Knowledge of and appreciation for testing – a must.
  • Understanding of monitoring needs, site reliability, high availability etc.
  • Keen interest in biology, genomics, bioinformatics and the various computational challenges they pose – an advantage.
  • A passion for “all things dev-ops” – a must.

The position will work with a growing team based in our St. Louis, MO office as well as with our established Israeli sales group. Travel throughout North America is a key component of the role for meeting with potential clients, following up with customers, and attending key conferences.
