Marketing Manager

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • 3-4 years of B2B marketing experience – a must
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce.com)
  • Previous experience in the field of biology/bioinformatics – a plus
  • BA/BS in marketing/life science/business. MBA preferred.
  • Fluent English

Job Purpose:

Territory Manager (TM) of China + Australia-New Zealand is responsible for all activities in China + Australia-New Zealand. Located in Hong Kong, TM CN+ANZ will report to GM APAC. TM CN+ANZ will carry the quota and ensure all aspects of the business, on all facets, are handled effectively. The areas of responsibility within these regions range primarily around Sales, Marketing & Channel Development. Further areas of responsibilities will rest on the infrastructure provided by the Company and include: Customer Support, Operations, Finance, Human Resources where TM CN+ANZ will enjoy strong support from Headquarters.

Duties and Responsibilities:

BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

  • Ensure proper Channel Management of the regions under the responsibility of TM CN+ANZ
  • Ensure ongoing management of the Territory Managers in the region. This includes informal discussions, weekly meetings, as well as QBR preparations and yearly reviews where TM CN+ANZ is responsible to define yearly targets together with the GM APAC
  • TM CN+ANZ is owner of forecast in the region and will report ongoing status to GM APAC
  • TM CN+ANZ is responsible to ensure that coverage of the region is handled properly so as to ensure long term growth plans of the company are safeguarded
  • TM CN+ANZ works closely with the Company to ensure that the plans prepared and approved by these is executed according to plan/
  • TM CN+ANZ will furthermore work closely with Customer Support, Operations, Finance, and Human Resources so as to make sure those HQ guidelines are ensured within the region.

 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Good communication skills. Superior interdisciplinary communication and listening skills to interface with customers.
  • 5-10 years of experience managing of sales. Position in question requires seniority of the highest level.
  • Expertise in sales of multi discipline systems.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic changing environment and multitask. Able to deliver in stressful situations.
  • BS in Molecular Biology or Genomics. Master’s Degree in similar field is an advantage.
  • MBA is an advantage.

Job description:

Business Development at NRGene is seen as a crucial function for the company’s ensured future success. Working alongside the CEO, VP Business Development is responsible to lead the company’s strategy through non-organic growth engines (collaborations, partnerships, M&As, other). NRGene is quickly establishing itself as leader in providing solutions in Genomic Breeding, a young and emerging market filled with ample opportunities NRGene is keen to capitalize on.  With little infrastructure currently existing in the field of Business Development at NRGene, the person in question will require establishing well defined processes and ensuring his/her efforts are prioritized within the company’s efforts to grow further the business. It is clear to the Management of NRGene that its success rests also in non-organic growth-related activities; the person in question will have Management’s full support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

  • Understand the business of NRGene, its future Product Roadmap, and how to align non-organic growth engines to align to NRGene’s Vision and Mission
  • Able to grasp company strategy and transform these into an actionable plan to then execute on
  • Capable of identifying business opportunities in various fields falling under Biz Dev. and capitalizing on them
  • Handing activities involving Collaborations (Sales and Marketing related), Partnerships (API-driven and/or other) and M&A activities within scope of work
  • Able to identify new verticals within the various segments of the company sales efforts and developing these verticals before then handing them over (after being clearly established) to the Sales Team

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Fluent in English and Hebrew
  • Good communication skills. Superior interdisciplinary communication and listening skills to interface with customers.
  • Ability to function independently within a team with a go-getter attitude needed in a dynamic and fast paced working environment
  • 5-10 years of experience in business development, preferably from large corporates and well established processes and modus operandi
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic changing environment and multitask. Able to deliver in stressful situations.
  • BSc in Molecular Biology or Genomics an advantage
  • MBA an advantage.

Technical Solution Specialist (TSS) – EMEA & APAC is responsible to lead technical aspects related to business transactions in this given region. Located in Israel, TSS EMEA & APAC will report to GM EMEA & APAC. TSS EMEA & APAC will need to familiarize himself/herself deeply with the technology and offer support as part of the efforts to help close business transactions for the company. Furthermore, TSS EMEA & APAC will assist in training both customers and/or sales staff (whether internal and/or at Channel level) and will need to be up to date with all aspects of the product offered by NRGene.  TSS EMEA & APAC will thus need to work closely with the Product Team to ensure all information is in sync with the latter team.

Job description and Responsibilities:

  • As a member of the software team, your primary focus will be to build great stuff! And of course help others to do the same.
  • As an integral and central player in our software development team, you’ll be expected to take part in all key design discussions pertaining to the basic aspects of our products: choice of frameworks, hardware, tooling, cost analysis, risk analysis, security, cloud orchestration and site reliability.
  • As such, you’ll be expected both to contribute to and learn from other engineers of the software team – our software engineers are open, self-motivated and enjoy learning and teaching new stuff to others.

Professional Requirements:

  • BSc in CS or equivalent – we require all software engineers to possess solid understanding of basic CS: algorithms, OOP, architecture.
  • 4+ years of hands-on software engineering experience. Fluent in both reading and writing code – in several languages and technologies (scripting, system, managed).
  • Understanding of modern deployment and orchestration frameworks (Kubernetes / Mesos / Docker), experience and knowledge of cloud computing (AWS in particular).
  • Experience with Hadoop / Spark – an advantage.
  • Excellent coding skills, with an appreciation for elegant and clean code.
  • Good understanding of modern hardware, Linux, the JVM, networking and storage.
  • Experience in designing and architecting distributed systems (SOA, micro-services, domain-driven design) – an advantage.
  • Knowledge of and appreciation for testing – a must.
