Job Purpose:

Job Purpose:

As part of the R&D team, the Platform Team Leader will be responsible for leading and further building of NRGene’s web platform team. The team’s main responsibility being NRGene’s application servers and cloud-based infrastructure. The role requires in-depth knowledge and experience around modern “web technologies” including web servers, AWS cloud infrastructure, databases and more, alongside proven leadership capabilities and coaching abilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Business Management

  • Develop NRGene’s core bioinformatic infrastructure and product.
  • Collaborate closely with our computational biology researchers’ team, most of whom have extensive domain knowledge (PhD’s), and bring their innovative ideas to life, at scale.

  • BSc in CS or equivalent – a must.

  • Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure (API Gateway, ELB, ALB, Cognito, Route53, ECS) and provisioning (Terraform).
  • Experience defining and using monitoring, log aggregation and alerting systems.

Territory Manager (TM) of China + Australia-New Zealand is responsible for all activities in China + Australia-New Zealand. Located in Hong Kong, TM CN+ANZ will report to GM APAC.
